Do’s and Dont’s during your summer vacation

There is nothing like a pre-planned summer vacation.

We all need a little time to relax, recharge ourselves and get back to full capacity and what better time than a Summer Holiday?

St. Georges Church, Sim’s Park, Droog Fort, Dolphin’s Nose, Highfield Tea Factory, Hidden Valley and Ketty

Read on for some ideas :

Book the right destination for your travel

Chill out in a hill station where the weather will be pleasant where you can just sit and enjoy the scenic views

Say no to road trips

Road trips should be avoided this time of the year which will increase the possibility of heat stroke.

Apply sunscreen

Apply waterproof sunscreen to all exposed parts of your body and reapply it every 3 to 4 hours to ensure that your skin remains protected.

Eat sensibly

Street food is always awesome, but during this season it’s better to stay away from these foods. Try to munch on cool, watery foods like cucumber and watermelon through the day; these will help you stay hydrated too. Carry some emergency medication and few packets of oral rehydration powder. Just in case.

Do keep a checklist of things to do before you leave on vacation and enjoy your summer vacation with Parveen!
